Pinterest is my most favoritest website ever. Basically, if Pinterest were a person I'd marry 'em. I spend countless hours searching endless things. The rabbit hole of creativity and distraction that Pinterest offers honestly sings a love song straight to my soul. Those who are truly addicted to Pinterest will know exactly what I'm talking about.

Why is Pinterest so great? Because on Pinterest, I'm a craft extraordinaire with a beautiful organized house and I travel basically every month. Not to mention, I'm a wedding planner, chef, and life coach.

As senior year is now half over, I'm realizing that there are some really useful things I should be pinning.

1. Budgeting tips for college students/recent grads

Sure, there are good things to be learned from successful business people, but only a recent grad is going to understand in the moment what I'm going through and how my budget should look. I'm still renting and probably will for the next several years, so spending ages talking to me about tricks for paying off my mortgage faster and easier isn't very helpful right now. But helping me figure out how student loan payoff works? That's what I really need.

2. Goals

Pinterest is a wonderful place to start figuring out your 1, 3, 5, and 10 year goals. I know that sounds ridiculous since as college students we barely even know what we are doing in 10 minutes, let alone a couple months, but figuring out a rough 10 year plan has given me so much peace about graduation and what I'm going to do afterward.

3. Interview tips

Pinterest has countless articles that all help you figure out how to be the best interviewee you can be, and with such a stiff job market, we need all the help we can get.

4. Self-care routines

Life is only getting crazier, so we need to learn now how to take care of ourselves before we are dropped out in the cold harsh world of job interviews and figuring out our own way in the world.

5. Books and podcasts

Never underestimate the power of being well read. Being able to connect with an interviewer and prove that you are up to date with well-written literature can help give you an edge above the rest. Additionally, there are dozens of podcast out there now with amazing information that all millennials could benefit from.

6. Food

Unfortunately, man cannot live on delivery alone. The steady diet of ramen and coffee you had in college is not only seriously unhealthy but unsustainable. It's time to invest in the power of meal prep and healthy food choices.

7. DIY projects

As much as we all wish that once we graduated we will have bookoos of money, we just won't. So you are probably going to need to know how to remove stains from your work clothes, figure out how to fix minor accidents, and hang pictures the right way. Pinterest has you covered.

I love Pinterest, unashamedly. It has been with me since high school and I can't imagine leaving it anytime soon. I can't even count the number of things I have learned on Pinterest. Pinterest is responsible for my becoming a better cook, a better student, and having well defined goals.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
