Hopefully these next few weeks go by fast. Here are 7 reasons why Thanksgiving is a holiday we are eagerly waiting for:

1. Family

Thanksgiving is a time when you get to see our extended family and many of them who you have not seen in a long time and you all become reunited

2. Football game

Once you are home who doesn’t go to the thanksgiving high school football game? This is the chance to reunite with friends who were too far to visit or you have been too far from them plus you get to see your school win a football game, hopefully

3. Food

Thanksgiving is not only a day to see family but a day to stuff your body with delicious food and sweets and then lounge around will a full belly

4. More football

Football all day long during Thanksgiving after eating a big meal everyone crowds around their TV to watch their favorite teams play or playing it with your family outside

5. Leftovers

A lot of leftovers. Enough said.

6. Friends

Bonfires and late night drives as you reunite for the week with your friends you have not seen for months

7. Parade

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade is the best thing to watch on TV Thanksgiving morning while drinking your coffee/tea

Don't worry Thanksgiving is on its way and you'll soon regret how much food you ate!

Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
