Being a big, I learned that you're supposed to be the person in your chapter that guides your little through everything. Not just within the sorority and greek life, but also outside the sorority. I became instant friends with my little. Our friendship with one another started off slow, as time passed we are now close as ever. We share our secrets, give each other advice, encourage each other to do better in school and are always there for each other. She is one of the best friends I'll ever have and this is why:

1. We are different, but we are the same. We have a lot in common, but at the same time we don't. Besides being obsessed with the same music, we have the same taste in fashion, makeup and everything else. You name it.

2. We always have something to talk about. Our conversations are never boring. We always have something to say. We can talk about fruits and still make sure it's a conversation worth having!

3. Her sense of humor is golden. She can always make me laugh. I can be sad about something stupid, and she'll say something and lighten up my mood and make me cry...from laughter.

4. She's always there for me. She's always just a text or call away. I know if I text or call her in the middle of the night, she'll always respond to me. I can call her and ask her the stupidest question in the world, and she wont judge me for it.

5. She's fun! A day spent with my little, is a day spent well. We always have fun when we're hanging out. Whether it's going out to a party or hanging out after a chapter meeting...we always make sure we're having a good time!

6. We are always looking out for one another. Need I say more?

7. She spoils me with her love. Even though I may act crazy sometimes...I know that she'll still love me.

I'm blessed to have my little in my life. I know for a fact that college wouldn't be the same with her. Now I know it's true when they say you meet your best friends in college, because now I know that I have met mine!
