Better known as the best place on God's green earth. When there was a SuperTarget less than four minutes from my house, you can bet I lived there. I thought of every excuse just to bask in the greatness that was SuperTarget. I knew where every object was located without hesitation. They could have hired me! All of that goes to say, Target is awesome. Here's a few reasons why.
1. SuperTargets have everything and their mother!
Groceries, school supplies, clothing, make-up, detergent, BICYCLES, everything! It's a one-stop shop! Their candy section could keep kids wishing for hours.
2. If your mom decides it's going to be her one-stop shop for hours and you skipped lunch, there's a great cafe!
Popcorn, pretzels, drinks and slushees can definitely hold you over until your mom finds her way to the check-out stations. Even if she gets distracted by the clearance! If you're lucky, you could even get one with a Starbucks inside. Now that, my friends, is the jackpot.
3. The red balls. Those bundles of joy are so fun, trying to clear them in one jump or trying to balance on top of them. I'm not sure if they're really in place to prevent cars from maneuvering onto the curbs and hitting pedestrians. Either way, they're super cool.
4. Bullseye the dog, Target's beloved mascot. This bull terrier's white coat and obvious red bullseye surrounding the dog's eye is an image that will forever be in our minds. Plus, each retired mascot retires to a ranch!
5. Clearance, clearance, clearance! My favorite part of any store, but especially Target. There are tips online to "hack" the system to ensure you get the lowest price. Even without the hacks, the prices are pretty great and the clothes are still quality clothing. There's always plenty of things to go through, which is great!
6. On the subject of sales, the dollar spot is the next best thing if you're looking for a cheap little gift or simple decor. During the back-to-school time, you can get super adorable stationary for the low price of a single dollar. You can bring younger siblings to peruse the plethora of goodies and they can get pretty good stuff for their buck. If you're on a budget but need a small goodie, this is the place to be!
7. To save even more, you can download this easy app called Cartwheel! Target puts extra coupons to save you money on this app. Just download it and peruse before you get there or scan while you shop to find extra savings! I love saving all the money I can so Target only gave me another incentive to choose to shop there.
In less words, Target is the best place to shop. In even less words, Target is my favorite. While it is difficult to go in and get out with only the things you need, if you do go overboard, Target is there to help you save as much as you can. Target is my childhood playground and my current go-to one stop shop.
