1. Studies show that animals help relieve stress.

Studies have shown that playing with animals can help relieve stress in students that are under large amounts of pressure. Take a break from writing your papers and studying, and go grab a pug!

2. Create the perfect playlist.

Another great way to let off some steam is by listening to your favorite music. It can be calming or energetic music that you can listen to while studying or taking a quick break.

3. Take a break.

Don’t forget to give yourself a day to relax. If you give yourself that day, it will keep you motivated throughout the week.

4. Exercising releases endorphins.

A little exercise never killed anyone. Working out is great and healthy way to relieve stress.

5. Get in touch with your family.

Talking to people, especially family members, is a great way to get rid of some steam. Even if you just Skype your family and hear what new is going on, it can get your mind off things.

6. Get off campus for awhile.

If you live on campus try to get off of it for awhile. Go grab coffee from a local coffee shop or do a little shopping. Sometimes all you need is a change of space.

7. Get some fresh air.

Nothing get rids of steam like walking around outside. Sometimes all you need is some fresh air and nature to get your mind off the five exams you have.
