There's no such thing as too much fun.

The 7 Best Things About Living With My Best Friend
Andi Norman

For the past year and a half, I have shared a tiny dorm room with my rowdy best friend. We are two college basketball players who are way louder than we should be together. Of all the things I love about living with her, here are my seven favorite.

1. I have someone to share clothes with.

Growing up, I was always head and shoulders taller than all of my friends, which meant they all shared clothes, and I wore what I owned. Since living with my teammate who is about the same height, my closet has now doubled! But, so has hers. Having two wardrobes to choose from is great until the shirt I was planning on wearing that day has gone missing

2. She knows just how to cheer me up.

Living in such a small space, there is not much room for secrets. Whenever I am having a bad day, I know that she will be there to pick me up when I get home. And I am so thankful for it!

3. I have a guaranteed cuddle buddy.

We can cuddle any time, and most days we do. However cuddle-seshes never seem to last very long considering we are much too big to be sharing a twin XL...

4. Whenever I want to order a pizza, I know I am not alone.

I always have a companion to split a large honey barbecue pizza with. It’s all fun and games until one piece remains.

5. She shamelessly holds my hand in public.

I always mindlessly grab her hand when we are walking places together. Never has she once complained about my constant need to hold hands.

6. I go to bed later than I would like almost every night.

You know how at sleepovers, you stay up all night talking about everything with your friends? Yeah, well living with your best friend is like that every night. We have conversations that keep us up late almost every single night. Sometimes I’m dragging the next day, but I would not trade it for anything.

7. She never lets me cause shenanigans alone.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
