For a lot of people, the thought of not eating meat, dairy or eggs is a completely foreign and basically unfathomable way of life. Let's be honest, living without Chick-fil-a or your dad's famous pulled pork is not that easy. It's tough for some people to understand why an increasing amount of people are choosing to eat more plant-based. For all the fellow vegetarians or vegans out there, I'm sure you have heard at least one of these. And no, hearing them will never stop being annoying.
1. "How do you live without cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets?"
Once you learn a little about how those nuggets get to your plate, I promise they won't be as appetizing.
2. "But where do you get your protein from? Meat has all the protein!"
There's always that one uncle at the party who tries to tell you that you can't get protein without eating meat. Believe it or not, there are a lot more plant-based protein sources than you would think, and most of them contain a crap ton of protein. (A lot of them have just as much protein as meat, if not more)
3. "Eating vegetarian or vegan is so expensive."
Have you seen the price of meat? I'll stick with my cheap frozen veggies and canned beans, thanks though.
4. "I love animals, but I could never live without (insert meat product here)."
You love animals? So you eat them?
5. "So all you can eat is salad."

As someone who cannot eat just a salad for a meal and expect to be a functioning person afterwards, I can say that this is not the case. And thank goodness for that. Shoutout to carbs.
