11 Things To Know If You're Dating A Photographer

Every couple likes to take cute photographs. But, what if you're dating a photographer? Dating a photographer can be quite interesting, you're no longer just taking selfies on your iPhone. Here's a few things that may happen if you end up dating a photographer!

1. You learn to like pictures of yourself.

Right now you may not like getting your picture taken. You may feel awkward and probably don't think you're photogenic. But, your pictures will always be taken. With the right lighting, and positioning, you'll learn to love having your photo taken.

2. You will become a model, and in charge of equipment.

You are now your partner's muse. As I previously mentioned, your picture will always be taken, making you an amateur model. If your partner has an idea for a photo that is out of the ordinary and quite strange. They're going to call you and make you be their muse. You'll also be in charge of carrying equipment.. sorry.

3. You'll have a lot of memories.

Trust me, you will be taking crazy adventures for photographs. Abandoned buildings, forests, graffiti sites, and many more. Each location will turn into a beautiful memory with beautiful photographs to remember that day.

4. You'll learn to love the simple things.

Honestly, photographers can take the most simplest items and make a beautiful photo out of them. Photographers can get really artsy and make anything look good in a picture.

5. They'll help you see things differently.

They're trained to look for different perspectives. You'll be the one they share them with.

6. You'll smile more often.

Smile more :)

7. You won't miss any more sunrises or sunsets.

Us photographers wake up at the earlier hours to take the perfect photograph's in the morning of sunsets. We're your own personal alarm clock for sunrises!

8. Some of them are "famous."

That photo they took of you? Yeah it has over 600 likes on Instagram, since your girlfriend/boyfriend has over 10k followers on their photography account.

9. Their music taste is amazing.

They most likely go to concerts for photography and have discovered some pretty amazing artists.

10. They know fashion.

Well.. Most do.

11. Never have to hire a family event photographer again.

Your cousin is having a wedding? No need for them to stress over finding a photographer, just send them your partner's portfolio!!

Go find yourself a photographer to date, and say cheese!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
