As a short girl in college many of us will experience the pain of these few struggles. But in the end, none of us would want to change the way we are for anything!

1. Jumping into bed.

As a short girl in college, you need to understand that getting into bed every night is a workout in itself. Starting at one end of the room and jumping into bed is a nightly ritual.

2. You are always a step behind

Once in college you will notice everyone you're friends with will be taller than you. While walking to class or to get food, you'll notice you have to run to keep up with them. Your little legs just simply cant keep up.

3. Always being in front for group photos.

Every weekend when your group of friends decides to go out, its evident that many pictures will be taken. Everyone gets into a huddle and lines up to take the pictures. Once again you're placed in the front because you wouldn't even be seen in the picture if you were in the back row.

4. Never being able to see the board in class.

Lets be honest, if anyone sits in front of you in class you will not be able to see the board. So you now have to sit in the front row in every class. On a positive note, you and your professor are very close.

5. You are never able to share clothes.

Every weekend when you and your friends go out, its usually a constant struggle of finding what outfit to wear. Your friends look in your closet and vise versa. But because you are so short, sharing pants and shirts is irrelevant.

6. But in the end you would not want to grow another inch.

All in all, you love being short, and you would not want to change your height for anything. Although there are struggles, there are always positive things as well!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
