The truth of the matter is that there is a little bit of Disney princess in every girl. Whether it’s the ability to make small talk with animals or retort with sassy comebacks and still maintain a gentle disposition, we all have one characteristic or another of a Disney princess. However, there are some people out there that seem to radiate the aura of a Disney princess. Here are six signs to prove that you belong in your own Disney movie doted on by animal friends and a dashing prince.
You sing incessantly.
In the shower, around the house, on the way to school, in the grocery school. You name it. There is a melody in your heart and a tune on your lips. In fact, people notice when you aren’t singing instead of when you are.
You talk to inanimate objects.
You speak to the toaster as you make breakfast and you talk to your car or computer as you encourage them to move just a little bit faster. You are even apologetic to the counters when you accidently bump into them.
You find the possibility of love in any situation.
You watch as another girl says hello to a passing stranger and he responds with a smile. Maybe they are secret lovers torn from one another by rivaling families. Maybe he is a prince of a far off kingdom. Either way it’s true love and you walk past sighing with contentment.
You have an overwhelming desire to nurture everyone and everything.
The tiny bug that was found on the floor of your apartment was promptly picked up using a piece of paper and walked down the hallway, down the stairs and out the door so it could be released safely onto a near by rock in it’s rightful home. Every creature is a friend. And every friend needs a little love.
You find indescribable joy in baking.
Pulling muffins out of the oven or watching bread rise brings you no greater sense of satisfaction. You have a favorite polka dotted apron that is always worn. Your baked goods are covetted by your roommates and beautifully decorated. Oh, and don’t forget the singing while you bake.
You buy a dress based on its twirling circumference.
In order to deem a dress worth buying it has to pass the test: the twirl test. A couple spins in the changing room will make or break the purchase. Once it succeeds, it’s a no brainer and to the cash register you go.
