Like many other "basic white girls," fall is my favorite season. There are a lot of reasons for that, but some are less subtle than others. Now that September is more than halfway over, I'm beyond ready for the season to change. Here are a few of the reasons why.
1. Leaves
The leaves changing make for really pretty scenery, especially when I'm driving back and forth between home and school. Once the leaves start changing, everything is so much prettier.
2. Clothes
3. Seasonal Drinks
If liking pumpkin spice lattes is wrong, I don't want to be right. I have no problem admitting that I'm basic, especially if it means I can indulge in seasonal drinks from Starbucks.
4. Blankets
I'm one of those people who is always cold anyway, so I'll take any excuse to wrap myself up in a blanket before watching a movie or working on homework, especially if I have a hot (seasonal) drink in my hand.
5. Halloween
Halloween is probably my favorite holiday, and once the weather changes, it's only a matter of time until Halloween. I love dressing up in costumes, and, now that I'm in college, that's really only socially acceptable once a year.
6. Fall Premieres
I definitely believe that fall is the best time of the year, and I'm beyond ready for it to actually get here. Until then, I'll just have to crank the A/C in my dorm room and pretend.
