Often times we watch movies and think, “that’s not relatable at all, let alone achievable”. Many TV shows mirror our daily lives as well, but when the credits begin to roll there is an overwhelming sense of detachment from the characters and the messages the writers try to portray in a 30-minute time slot. YouTube is such an amazing platform because it allows the real deal, day to day living families to crack open their front doors and invite us inside their homes, amidst their business ventures and biggest milestones, all while remaining true to themselves. There are so many lessons I’ve learned in life, but a few YouTube friends have helped make these lessons stick.
Gratefulness
warmly or deeply appreciative of kindness or benefits received; thankful
Whether acknowledging the beauty of the clouds in the sky, "Gods Artwork" as Jerry likes to call it, or counting the tangible blessings that life as afforded him and his family, as I watch The LaVigne Life, I cannot help but to be grateful for all I have and the opportunities that I have been given. It could simply be from fan mail, small gifts exchanged between each other, a helping hand from relatives or the sheer ability to sit with a roof over their heads, the humility is ten fold. It's amazing how the smallest of things, like dollar tree shopping, can leave you appreciative. The LaVignes always remind me to count my blessings and be truly thankful for the air I breathe or the next step that I take. Truly an inspiration and definitely a family who sets the right example.

Love
a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.
April and Justin are the epitome of love and the expression of it. Be it caring for their son, Liam, with such affection, or spreading the same selflessness to their family and friends, it's a movement and you are affected by it from the moment you press play, until the video comes to an end. April is such a sweet person and goes the extra mile to make sure that you feel important and invited. Her unselfish spirit is loud, apparent and quite contagious. Everything she does is genuine, and even on her bad days, it is apparent that her desire to put others before herself still has lasting power. Justin is so attentive and is such a giver. The way he cares after his family and the amount of patience he exhibits is unmatched by anyone I know. Their smiles are as big as their hearts and I always carry that with me throughout my daily endeavors.

Positivity
the state or character of being positive : a positivity that accepts the world as it is.
There's something so special about a family who doesn't sweat the small stuff, rarely complains, and remembers that the most important thing in life is finding your joy and spreading it with others. That special family is DearNaptural85! Freelance Graphic Design, YouTube, Nursing School and Parenthood can be overwhelming, but Whitney and Felipe are such good sports about it all. The laughter that they share between themselves, their daughter and family is infectious and will have you bursting at the seams. I can assure you that after watching their vlogs you'll think to yourself, "what was I even mad about in the first place?".

Faith
belief in God or in the doctrines or teachings of religion
Although I am motivated by Christ, this is a family that gives me that extra nudge toward the church or even toward my own daily worship. Gabe and Chad are two people that are immersed in their faith and unapologetically so. That's not to say that they are perfect people, because they do not claim to be, but it's so refreshing to see a couple be unashamed and fired up in the lord. They sing, they meet, they pray and attend Church on a regular basis and it just fills you up with the desire to share the same happiness that you see fill their lives. It's honestly a powerful transaction to be a subscriber to their channel. I can be down on myself or on a certain situation, and after watching just one video, my faith can be completely restored.

Perseverance
steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement.
There isn't a family quite like the Daily Davidson's. The man of the house, TJ, wakes up in the mornings, goes to the gym, cooks his 3 boys breakfast, kisses his wife and all before heading to work. It isn't only his effort that draws the viewers in, it's his enthusiasm and his message of perseverance that he shares to those watching. His wife, Tiffany, is a stay at home mom, fitness guru and beauty expert but most of all, a business woman. Together, this dynamic duo faces the boo boos, runny noses, the whines and the laughs head on and with such grace. I'm always left with the feeling that despite all that could go wrong, as long as I have the will to be great, nothing can stand in my way. Such an inspiring couple who never lets you disappoint yourself. They always leave you feeling like you're not doing enough, that there's always room in your day to do more. That's a feeling that I welcome with open arms. There's no Cant's, Wont's or Not's in the Davidson household and there's always something to learn.

These families each make you feel included in their personal lives, all oblivious to the lives they're actually touching. So glad that I found such a learning tool through YouTube, I honestly don't know where I'd be without it.
