A new age problem that is coming to light is the seeming influx of F**kboys. What exactly is a F**kboy, though? It’s debatable, but it seems that many girls are having their fair share of run-ins with them.
Typically, the term refers to a guy that has all the qualities that no one wants in a boyfriend. They’re unreliable, untrustworthy, and immature. Worst of all, some of them can be terribly charismatic and almost lead society into thinking that they aren’t actually a F**kboy. Some telltale signs simply cannot be easily concealed by a pretty face and charming words no matter how hard they try. Though being a F**kboy may initially get you the attention of many girls, your F**kboy status will be what sinks you when you finally find a girl that you want a real relationship with. To solve this problem and improve your status from boy to man, there are some solid things to absolutely avoid doing if you’re trying to get out of the F**kboy mentality.
1. “Netflix and Chill” is not a date.
Asking a girl to “chill," come over and “watch Netflix” with you is not how you ask her out. No one is fooled by your poorly veiled way of asking a girl to have sex with you. Pretending that you are interested in dating her, and asking her to meet up for “Netflix and chill” is one of the worst things any guy can do. If you have no intentions of dating her, don’t pretend that you do and just come right out and ask her if she wants to hookup, if that’s the only thing that you’re looking for. Don’t deface the good name of Netflix with your sexual endeavors.
2. Looking through Tinder for hookups is a turn off.
Yes, Tinder is primarily an application for people that are looking to hookup with someone, but if you’re trying to move off your F**kboy level, avoiding Tinder is a good way to start. Instead, try talking to a girl authentically, or at least someone you know on social media. Give a girl a real chance at a relationship by spending time with her, without the intent of sleeping with her.
3. Stop talking to multiple girls at once.
Another serious F**kboy issue. F**kboys like to talk to girls and make them feel special, except they do this with multiple girls at the same time. The other girls are unaware that this is going on, but the F**kboy simply has too much time on his hands and is too immature to see that what he is doing does not help anyone. Commenting on every girl’s Instagram picture to flirt with them, while texting five other girls trying to get with them, and messaging a few more on Facebook is the definition of being a F**kboy. Pick a girl you like and give her a real chance; your ego will survive not having the attention of a dozen.
4. Stop asking girls for nudes and sending your own.
No one is flattered when some guy they barely know asks a girl to send a naked picture of herself, or when he randomly thinks it would be attractive to send one of his own. You may get the occasional naked picture when you ask, but if you’re looking for an actual relationship, ask yourself if any real relationships ever started from asking for a naked picture. Sure, it can happen, but what are the chances? What if you’re writing off a perfectly good potential partner because you come right out and ask them to send you a naked picture without even knowing you. That’s what being a F**kboy is at it’s finest.
5. Stop pretending you are interested when you aren’t.
Besides just talking to multiple girls at once, making girls think that you’re really interested in them is a classic F**kboy move. Talking to a girl as if you are interested in her for more than just a hookup, to the extent that she actually starts to have feelings for you is just wrong. Using her feelings and your lies just to get her to have sex with you, just so you can change after you get what you want is one of the cruelest and immature things any guy can do.
It may be true that these five ways of not being a F**kboy may actually be helpful tools, in some cases, in getting a girl to hookup with you. But if you’ve decided it’s time to grow up and look for an adult relationship, making these five major changes will be where you want to start.
