In college, you’ll at some point develop a group that you do everything with. You’ll text them in a huge group chat when you want to eat, study and go for coffee. Without even noticing these people will become your family away from your family at your home away from home. With a group of people will come many different personalities that will as hard as it may seem, learn to love them all. Who to explain it better than the cast of "Friends?"

1. The one that you can never find without a book nearby.

You can always find them in their room, or hanging out in the common area with their nose huddled in a book, taking notes with tabs flying marking pages. This friend comes in handy with midterms roll around, they're more than happy to help with your "not so great" study skills.

2. The one who makes the plans for the weekend on a Monday afternoon.

We all know we have our one friend who is always itching to talk about what will be going down that Friday. They text asking about parties for the weekend as soon as the last one comes to a close.

3. The one who manages to take care of everyone and make sure everyone doing okay.

We all know the friend who has tissues and small candies in their purse for when someone might need them. You find them tidying up the room when everyone else is enjoying each others company Whoever said this was a bad thing, was obviously lying.

4. The one who always leaves you laughing.

When times get tough, you can always count on that one friend to ease the tension and get everyone laughing again. More important than we like to think as college students.

5. The one who might as well move their mattress into the gym.

We all have the one friend that spends countless amount of money on pre-workout and planning long hours at the gym, be careful they might try to drag you down there with them if you're not careful.

So many different people and personalities is what makes a friend group colorful, here's to our college friend groups. Where would we be without you?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
