Courtney Smith

Hello! My name is Courtney Smith, I am originally from Quincy Mass which is just about 10 minutes outside of Boston. I graduated from Quincy High School last Spring with the class of 2015. I am a freshman this year at Westfield State Univeristy. I enjoy Singing, Acting, Writing and drinking more coffee than imaginable. My Major is English/Secondary Education. My ultimate goal is to hopefully get all the training I need to become a High School English Teacher. After college I plan to attend grad school to get my masters in Special Education. I have always loved writing, and been the girl that wrote "too much" for the required page limit for papers in class. It has always just been something that has come so naturally to me. I also write a little bit of poetry from time to time, and just recently I have started to write some of my own music with the help of my roommates Ukulele skills.
