Exams are starting up, as many of us are familiar with by this point in the semester, some if not most of our classes have already been dishing out papers, tests, and a hair-pulling amount of work. On top of studying for our other classes and trying to maintain our GPA’s, there’s also maintaining health. Here are some of the indicators that we might need a break.
1. This Is The End
Accepting your fate as right at or just below the bell curve. Promise yourself you’ll do better next time, that this is the last time you’ll procrastinate this hard.
2. I'm Good
As if you walked off from the scene of a crash, nothing else bothers you. The hellish nightmare of the exam you just took will always be the worst thing you’ve ever experienced. You’ve hit rock bottom, and the only way to go now is up.
3. Fight Me, Professor
You look up the professor’s score on Rate My Professors and the lack of pepper as a quantifiable indication of how terrible they are. You let everyone know the degree of their horror, your classmates, roommates, and even that person in the Dunkin line.
4. How Will I Tell My Mom
Wait in anticipation each class for the professor to hand back the tests. Feel the sweat on your palms and shaky hands wondering how you’ll have to apply for a pass/fail option on the course.
5. Who Cares
You’re done, the weekend is coming up (even though its midweek), and you can’t change what’s done. Go party, marathon that show on Netflix, go to the city with your friends until the stress of other responsibilities hit you.
In the end, you can do it, you've made it through this far and your track record for getting yourself through bad days thus far has been 100%. Not too shabby!
