Amid the campaign chaos, the idea of 30 Days, 30 Songs arose to combat Donald Trump's election. After the results on November 8th that many of us were dreading, 30 Days, 30 Songs turned into 1,000 Days, 1,000 Songs. Our First 100 Days is a partner with this project. Websites such as these give us plenty of music to be dissatisfied to, and here are a few of the best.

1. Million Dollar Loan-Death Cab For Cutie

The first song featured on 1,000 Songs, 1,000 Days' playlist, Death Cab For Cutie's video features "Donald Trump" building walls, giving speeches, while being dragged over the "small loan" he was given from his father.

2. Interesting Drug (Morrissey cover)-OK Go

Originally by Morrissey and released in 1989, OK Go released this cover on January 18th, two days before Trump's inauguration.

3. I Give You Power-Arcade Fire ft. Mavis Staples

Shortly following OK Go, Arcade Fire released their newest single featuring Mavis Staples the day before Trump's inaguration with the statement, "It's never been more important that we stick together and take care of each other."

4. This Is Not America-David Bowie

Though this song wasn't released in response to Trump's inauguration (not even close, it was released in 1985), 30 Days, 30 Songs put it on their playlist anyway.

5. Mississippi Goddamn-Nina Simone

Another song written long before the election, yet still applicable; "Mississippi Goddamn" is considered to be one of Nina Simone's most famous political songs.

If you're still looking for more music to inspire your next protest (or are looking for some sick burns against Trump), check out 30 Days, 30 Songs' Spotify playlist.

I thought senioritis in high school was rough until I became a college senior about to go into the real world. I'm supposed to have everything figured out, right? I mean I went through four years of tough classes and serious self-searching (and crying). What I found overall was Senioritis sneaking up on me.

College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
