Spring break, for a lot of people, means going somewhere fun with friends and partying because you don't have to worry about work. Or it means going home and spending time with your family and friends. But when you play tennis, spring break means spending most of your time on a court. You eat, breathe, sleep, and play tennis because that's all there is to do.
1. You can't make plans because you have to play tennis.
Despite how much you'd love to hangout with friends or go out for the night, you know that's not possible. You can't make plans and no one can rely on you to make them because you have to spend most seconds of the day playing tennis or avoiding sunlight when you're not.
2. You're excited to finally be playing outside.
Spring Break is most likely the first time you've gotten to play outside since it's starting to get warm or you're somewhere with better weather. Playing indoors can be fun, but it's definitely a better feeling to be outside and not trapped within four walls.
3. You start to forget that there is a life outside of tennis.
Only playing tennis for a couple days straight makes you forget that there's anything else. You forget that you actually go to school and will eventually have to do work again and see your friends who don't play tennis.
4. You end up with the worst tennis tan lines.
Tennis tan lines are the worst, and spring break brings them all back in full force. You end up accepting the fact your feet will never be the same color as your legs ever again.
5. You get to spend a week with your team doing what you all love.
There's nothing better than knowing you'll be surrounded by people just as excited about your favorite sport as you. It's all tennis all the time, and that couldn't make you happier.
You know you love playing tennis on Spring Break!
