Everyone has heard that a dog is a man’s best friend and I think that almost everyone would agree about how true that statement actual is.
It seems that no matter what someone is going through, that four legged friend is always going to be there. Dogs are more than animals to many people in the world. Dogs are friends, companions and as I like to say “furry humans.”
1. You find comfort in your dog.
It seems that no matter what you’re going through you can always look at your dog and feel a sense of ease. They make you relaxed without even trying to. After a long day your dog is always going to be there to play or cuddle with.
2. You can never stay mad at your dog.
It seems that no matter what wrong your dog does you can never stays mad at him or her. Let’s say your dog tear up that important piece of paper you left out or maybe your dog goes into your room and steals your slipper. Yeah you’re mad at first but after your dog looks at you with those innocent eyes you just cannot stay mad anymore.
3. Your camera roll is filled with pictures of your dog.
Out of those 12,000 pictures in your camera roll about half of those are of your dog. You just can’t help but take photos of them. Some people think it’s an obsession but truthfully it’s not, it’s just love.
4. Your dog is the person that misses you the most and you miss them just as much.
If you leave the house for ten minutes or ten hours it seems that your dog is always the happiest to see you return. It’s a good feeling to see how happy your dog is to see you. Your dog hears you pull in the driveway and they start barking so loud that the whole neighborhood is alerted that you’re home. When you walk in the door your dog does circles around the house and you can’t help but fall in love all over again. But the biggest thing is, you missed your dog just as much as they missed you.
5. Your dog always makes you smile.
Your dog seems to always know what to do to make you smile, they are filled with love and warmth. Your dog will always listen to you, never argue with you and will always protect you. They will take their nose and push your hand to pet them over and over again. They will bring you their toys to play and they always get excited when you get excited. You just can’t help but smile when your dog is around.
I think dog lovers would agree with the listed items above. Whenever you call your dog’s name they come running because they love you just as much, or maybe even more, as you love them. You share moments with your dog that you know you will never forget. Dogs play a big part in every family and the love that they share with you is more than words can describe. The bond you and your dog share is unbreakable.
