Hey guys.
Long time no type. Just got back to my hometown, Washington, D.C. from my family's annual two-week trip to Aspen, Colorado—the posh city of shopping-till-you're-dropping, Veuve-filled ski afternoons, and wild nightlife. It's notorious for these qualities, but it is MOST well-known for its Christmas-New Year's season. There is NOTHING like a X-Mas/New Year spent in Aspen... So let me tell you five of the reasons you have to go there at least once during this magical time.
1. The celebrity sightings.
We personally saw Paris at Cloud 9 Bistro, Kourtney at Snowmass, and Heidi at Highlands.
2. The delicious, and unique, food.
The winter menu at BOSQ. NO. WORDS.
3. The NYE fireworks.
There's nothing like the gorgeous Ajax Mountain lit up at night.
4. The skiing.
If you're a skier, then you're gonna go crazy for the conditions during the Christmas season.
5. The shopping.
Sadly... There are no sales.
