Many people think that being an organized person means you have your life together. Whether it's the way you plan your day, how you write out your to-do list, or how you simply seem to get everything and anything done on time. Usually you're the person people with the bag of everything, or a binder, an agenda to write everything down, a file case, and maybe even a calendar hung up in your room. Despite what everyone thinks, sometimes it can get annoying and here are the reasons why:
1. People think you live this way 24/7.
If I did, I would go crazy. Sometimes I actually do procrastinate and relax, although I can't do it forever, otherwise I will keep thinking about everything that I have to do. But, that's why I write things out!
2. They always assume you have a 10-20 year life plan.
While I do have a calendar and an agenda, I am still trying to figure out what I'm going to do next month!
3. If you're in school, you're always the one asked for the notes.
Look, my notes can only do so much and I really need them to study.
4. When you mess up, it's a big deal.
I'm not perfect, I am still a human being and when I do forget to do things, trust me, I'm shocked too.
5. People assume you're no fun when you have a concise schedule to balance everything.
Excuse me for trying to be productive. I don't see you successfully managing your social, financial, academic, humanitarian life.
It's great to be organized, but staying on track of everything can be hard. To those out there who look for organization inspiration, don't be afraid to ask for help, just don't rely on them to keep your life in control; because they have one of their own they need to organize and plan.
