It's that time of year again, the time when shoppers get meaner and shopping becomes stressful instead of fun. However, shopping will be much less stressful with a foolproof shopping list to guide you. Here are 5 perfect stocking stuffers for the ladies in your life.
1. Makeup
Any girl who wears makeup hopes to open some new products on Christmas morning. As long as she enjoys wearing makeup, this is the perfect gift. If you live with the person you are shopping for, check her bathroom drawers and write down what products she uses so you will be sure to buy her exactly what she wants. Make sure to write down the shade too. If you have no way of finding out what she uses, just buy her something that looks promising. She may end up loving the product, but if not, she will still have fun trying out something new.
2. Underwear
If you are stuffing a stocking for your girlfriend's best friend, maybe this is not the best idea. However, if you are shopping for an immediate family member or significant other, underwear is the perfect gift. All ladies need them and we never seem to have enough. My recommendation for where to buy them is Victoria's Secret. This store is hands down the best, especially if you want to get something for her to wear on a romantic night. Be sure to find out her size before you purchase them. The best way to do this is to look at her other pairs in her drawer or contact her best friend.
3. Candy or Food
Everyone loves food, so buy her something that will make her mouth water. Chocolate and candy are always good options. Other good choices include small snack bags and packs of hot cocoa or tea.
4. Phone Charger
If you are buying for a female, there is a good chance she tends to lose things all the time, usually in a pile of clothes. For days when that phone charger is nowhere to be found, a bonus charger would be extremely useful. She can keep it in her car, just in case she forgets hers when she travels. She can keep on at home and one in her purse for emergencies. She can even keep one at home and one in her dorm room so she does not have to take it back and forth, which increases the chance of losing it. Make sure to buy an extra long cord so that she can be farther than 3 feet away from the plug.
5. Gift Cards
Some people hate to buy people gift cards because they think it is an impersonal gift. However, to my generation, gift cards mean just as much as a handpicked gift. The store you choose the gift card from can be personal. The way you present the gift could be more original than just in an envelope. You could even print out a picture of the two of you and glue it to the front of the gift card to make it extremely personal and handmade. Although they may seem like the easy option, no other gift is as foolproof as a gift card.
