The world is a beautiful place. The mountains, the oceans and everything in between, all have something unique about them that makes them beautiful. Maybe you're most peaceful while gazing out at the sea, or maybe you find solace in the crisp air after hiking to the top of a mountain. One thing we can all agree on, is there's something beautiful out there. This earth has so many vast, untouched places, that it's hard not to day dream about going out and getting lost in the world.
Here is a list of 5 beautiful places your wanderlust can lead you to:
1. Ice Lakes, CO
This obviously has to come first on the list for me. As a Colorado native, and someone who has personally experienced the Ice Lakes, I can vouch that this is a special place indeed. The air, the scenery, the water- everything comes together to create this magical mountainous escape. If you're lucky enough to visit this place, you'll agree that it's one of the most special places on earth. The hike to the lakes is a plus, too.
2. Santorini, Greece
Greece has many beautiful areas, but Santorini is one of my most
favorite. This city sprung on the side of a cliff offers beautiful
views, wonderful sunsets, and a classic taste of greek life. Santorini
is home to the black sand beaches which are a must see.
3. Eilean Donan Castle, Scotland
This place is still on my "I-don't-want-to-call-it-a-bucket-list Bucket List". It looks like a breath taking place to experience, and the lush green mountains are enough to make me want to run away there right this minute. Scotland is one of the most beautiful countries, and if you get to see and experience it, consider yourself very fortunate. It's definitely a place worth visiting with its rich history and customs.
4. Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany
Germany is another country on my not-so-bucket-list. My family hails
from Germany, and it's always intrigued me. Getting to see where my
family is from would be an amazing experience, but that's not the only
reason to go. Everyone can appreciate the beautiful places in Germany.
Rothenburg ob der Tauber is one of those beautiful places. It would be a
treat to explore this exquisite place.
5. Yosemite Valley, USA
Yosemite is a classic. The mountainous terrain make for beautiful hikes,
wonderful camping, and it's a definite on this list. The beauty found in
Yosemite is unlike any other. It's been on my bucket list for a while
now, and its easy to see why. Many people flock here throughout the year
to explore, and it'd be well worth your time to visit.
