Arizona is known for beautiful weather, gorgeous sunsets, and breathtaking mountain ranges. With so many different hikes to choose from, it's hard to pick a place to start! I've comprised a list of my favorite hikes across the valley!
1. Tom's Thumb; Scottsdale, AZ
This trail is absolutely breathtaking. I suggest hitting this trail early in the day to avoid busyness on the trail. While the hike to the top is filled with incline that seems never ending, the view at the top is worth the burn in your thighs.
2. White Tank; Waddell, AZ
Honestly, I could spend all day here. Whether it be hiking the Waterfall Trail or checking out the petroglyphs, there's so much to see and do!
3. Squaw Peak (now Piestewa Peak); Phoenix, AZ
Talk about a workout! This challenging trail is filled with continuous incline and narrow pathways. Your legs will be burning after this hike, but the view at the top is worth it!
4. Pinnacle Peak; Scottsdale, AZ
Pinnacle Peak offers the perfect balance of challenge and enjoyment. This trail has impeccable views the entire way up. This is a great trail for beginners.
5. Superstition Mountain at the Lost Dutchman State Park; Apache Junction, AZ
Hands down, my favorite trail. The mountains are absolutely gorgeous. The trail itself doesn't seem to be challenging at first, but it slowly sneaks up on you. It's all around beauty makes this hike my absolute favorite.
