Food and cartoons are two of the best things known to man. Unfortunately, some of the most memorable foods from our childhoods can never be actually tasted. Thus, our only option is dream and hope that one day these fictional foods will one day materialize. Until then, here are the top foods from cartoons that we all wish were real.
1. The Krabby Patty

Forget saving the best for last, I’m coming out the gate shooting from the hip. I feel like it goes without saying as to why someone would want this tasty sea-dweller favorite to be real, but just in case you were robbed of a childhood and never watched "Spongebob", allow me to explain. The Krabby Patty is by far the most intriguing food in cartoon history. Its recipe is top secret and coveted by many. It’s made with pure love and apparently is so magically tasty it can fix most worldly problems. One bite literally made a man, or fish in this case, break out into a freaking musical number. Have you ever had a sandwich so good that you broke into song? And I’m not talking about a little hum, I’m talking full blown score and sheet music with accompanying choreography? No? I haven’t either, but I sure would like to.
2. The Naco
"Kim Possible" was a staple of most millennials’ childhood. It was an action packed cartoon with a female lead which is super dope within itself. Not only was it groundbreaking in TV portrayal of gender roles, but it also featured one of the tastiest looking creations ever imagined. Underrated and under-appreciated the “Naco”, created by Ron Stoppable himself, was a taco--nacho fusion smothered in cheesy goodness. Most would probably agree when I say that I wish the Naco was a menu option at Taco Bell on a drunken Saturday night.
3. The Jawbreaker
I used to be livid when Ed, Edd, and Eddy couldn’t pull off one of their harebrained schemes to get a mere twenty-five cents to buy one of the most coveted candies in the neighborhood. I don’t think there was a single kid who didn’t wish they could get their hands on one of these puppies. Not only were they the size of a human head, but they were cheap as hell! Not to mention the look of satisfaction on our protagonists faces. They’re literally drooling on themselves!
4. The Scooby Snack
A classic! When I saw Scooby Doo literally turn into a rocket ship after eating one of these treats and float blissfully back to Earth, I immediately knew it had to be delicious dog food. Even Shaggy was a fan and he was a grown man. Not to mention, a mere Scooby Snack could convince Shaggy and Scoob to risk their lives and fight ghosts, something I wouldn’t even do for my mom’s Thanksgiving dinner, and my mom’s cooking is beyond lit.
5. The Reptar Bar
There’s no other way to say this, "Rugrats" was the sh** back in the day. A group of babies going on wild adventures, it doesn’t get any better than that. Featured alongside the many inventions and gizmos created by Tommy’s dad was "The Reptar Bar". On the outside it seemed like a normal chocolate bar, but once it was revealed that it could change the color of your tongue to green it was game over!
