I may be a little biased, but after seeing today's cartoons and TV shows, I must say that the cartoons that 90's kids grew up watching are the best. From Nickelodeon to Cartoon Network, to Disney Channel, all of the shows of the 90s and early 2000s were the best. Are you familiar with any?

1. The Rugrats

Of course, this show may have truly related to many of us. Young toddlers facing the scary problems of the world that was so much bigger than them. Tommy was for sure my favorite character in this cartoon series! They producers of this show didn't hit it off with just the series, but also with the movies they made. I've had to have watched Rugrats in Paris 100 times!

2. Courage the Cowardly Dog

Although this show may have given me nightmares at a young age, I still watch reruns of this cowardly little dog on Netflix. Eustace, Muriel, Courage, and all of there worst nightmares give me a giggle whenever I watch Courage save the day every single time!

3. Hey Arnold

Hey football head! Many people still quote this series to this very day. The daily life of this 4th grade boy caught the attention of many kids in the 90s, with this show debuting in 1994. Feel old yet?

4. Dexter's Laboratory

I don't think that anyone can forget this show with a genius boy and his annoying sister, Dee Dee. Did anyone ever realize how incredibly short that Dexter was compared to his mother, father, and sister?

5. SpongeBob Squarepants

I think it will be a sad day whenever a generation does not know who SpongeBob Squarepants is. This show debuted in 1999, and still has a famous reputation to this very day. SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Crabs, and Sandy will always have a certain spot in our heart that cannot be filled by any other children's cartoon. Just use your imagination!

6. As Told by Ginger

If there was one thing I learned from this show, it was that the grass is always greener on the other show. I can still sing this show's theme show to this day. This show taught every girl how embarrassing the early teenage years of life can really be.

7. The Amanda Show

I'm sure everyone remembers this show for the famous, "Meh Heh!" and "Bring out the dancing lobsters!" This show was sure to bring out the laughs in all audiences. It may have been a little goofy, but it was of the first comedy shows we all knew and loved!

8. Ed, Eddy, 'n' Eddy

These goofy friends definitely get into a lot of situations on this show, but they know just how to bring out laughs. Was I the only one who always wondered why they had the same names? Jawbreakers still remind me of this show!

9. Cow and Chicken

This show always baffled me due to the fact that their parents were humans, but yet a cow and a chicken were biological siblings? And, you could never see above their parent's waists. Oh well, their misadventures kept all of entertained for hours upon hours.

10. The Pink Panther Show

Although this show debuted in 1969, it brought me plenty of laughs. The smooth, casual pink panther got himself into a lot of dangerously funny situations. This show was one of my favorites growing up!

11. CatDog

This show featuring a conjoined cat and dog showed the funny life of this adventurous creature. The two different personalities of each animal brought lots of laughs to kids all around the world. Who would have thought this came out in 1998?

These 11 TV shows bring back a lot of childhood memories for all those 90s kids out there. I would love to see these cartoons back on TV! Who's with me?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
