It's that time of year, again! You know, the time when life is good, new music has come out, and it so happens that your favorite artist is attending a music festival right in your town?! Yup, it's music festival season! Music festivals can generally pop up throughout an entire year, like Coachella in the Spring, Lollapalooza in the Summer, and Fun Fun Fun Fest in the Fall. However, there is a new festival on the rise, and it's called Life Is Beautiful. A music festival that has been going on successfully for the past three years.
Life Is Beautiful typically occurs in either late September or October, in Downtown Las Vegas. But, this article isn't about the history of Life Is Beautiful, rather it's what you should bring to a music festival, whichever one you may be going to. Here are five essentials to bring. Trust me, these will come in handy for a long three-day music weekend.
1. Bring deodorant!
This should be pretty self-explanatory. Tight spaces. Lots of people. And if you live in Vegas, over 100 degree weather. Maybe get two.
2. A reusable water bottle.
Generally, these festivals can be very expensive! And if you're walking around the whole day and sweating a whole bunch, you will be grateful to have a refillable water bottle! But make sure it's empty before you walk in, otherwise security won't allow it.
3. Comfortable shoes.
Look, I know you want to look cute the entire weekend, and shoes are important! But when you walk from stage to stage, you're going to be thankful that you chose comfortable shoes over those high-heeled boots. Plus, who said comfortable shoes can't be cute? Try wearing some good ol' Converse, or even a flat boot that will you keep you from getting tired of walking!
4. Bring a hat.
If you're like me, and plan on staying the entire day at a music festival, then a hat is a must! Either a floppy hat or snapback works best.
5. Lastly, a camera.
Whether it be your fancy schmancy Nikon or Canon, or your phone, pictures are always a good idea at music festivals! You will want to capture some great moments from that weekend. And what better way to look back at those memories than from the pictures you took yourself!
With these five essentials, your festival weekend will be sure to go smoothly!
