I am someone who always plans to accomplish many things when summer comes around, but sadly life happens. With summer coming to an end, I have come to the realization that I have yet to do anything this summer except work and take a summer class. I know I am not alone, as most of my friends have also come to this realization.

There are so many things that I planned on doing this summer, but I haven't been able because of time and money. When telling other people about how all I've really done this summer is work and study, they typically respond with something along the lines of "welcome to the real world" or "this is what it's like to be an adult." The problem is, in my eyes I don't see myself as a full-blown adult quite yet. I've compiled a list of different things I have yet to do this summer, but plan on doing at least once before it's time to head back to school in the fall.

1. Go to the beach.

2. Go on a road trip.

3. Do a sunrise hike.

4. Go to the drive-ins.

5. Go to a bonfire.

6. Go to a fair.

7. Go camping

8. Read a book.

9. Go star-gazing.

10. Go mini golfing.

11. Make s'mores.

12. Go to a concert.

13. Pull an all nighter.

14. Go for a bike ride.

15. Go to a farmers' market.

16. Spend time with family.

17. Have a picnic.

18. Go to a new city.

19. Go to a baseball game.

20. Go night swimming.

21. Donate old clothes.

22. Go to a new coffee shop.

23. Binge watch a new Netflix series.

24. Spend time with my best friend from high school.

25. Tan in my backyard.

26. Go shopping.

27. Try new foods.

28. Go out for a night on the town.

29. Pick some flowers.

30. Do yard work.

31. Go to a water park.

32. Make a collage.

33. Eat breakfast in bed.

34. Go to a museum.

35. Go for a run in the rain.

36. Go for a sunrise run.

37. Collect seashells.

38. Take my dog for a hike.

39. Have a barbecue.

40. Eat an ice cream sundae.

41. Go kayaking.

42. Go to the Ben & Jerry's factory.

43. Go to New York City.

44. Run a 5k.

45. Run a 10k.

46. Go on a mini vacation.

47. Go swimming in a pool.

If you're like me and haven't had time to do some or any of these things yet, don't worry! There is still time to complete some or even all of these activities. Even though there are more things on this list than there are days left of summer, I still am going to attempt to do all of these.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. You feel like you will have never-ending classwork to catch up on if you miss class, so you end up going sick and then it just takes longer to get better. Being sick in college is really tough and definitely not a fun experience. Here are the 15 stages that everyone ends up going through when they are sick at college.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
