1. Cage The Elephant, "Tell Me I'm Pretty."
Released in December of 2015, Cage The Elephant never fails to impress with their obvious lyrical and overall musical growth. "Tell Me I'm Pretty" (produced by Dan Auerbach lead singer and guitarist of The Black Keys) is memorable and upbeat, proving this bands ability to stay modernized without compromising their original sound that mesmerizes millions.
2. Hinds, "Leave Me Alone."
"Leave Me Alone" was just released in January. Hinds are comprised of four young girls in a uniquely sounding garage pop band originating in Madrid, Spain. Their off-beat sound is creative and oddly addictive to any young women still holding on to that last shred of teen angst. They are predicted to become one of the most trending and in-style groups of 2016.
3. Glass Animals, "ZABA."
Although "ZABA" isn't the newest album release on this list, it's still worth the listen. Combining electronics and indie guitar sound, "ZABA" is smooth and vocally enticing. Glass Animals could provide a relaxing vibe desperately needed during finals week or to sooth any stressful day-to-days.
4. 1st Vows, "The Red EP."
"The Red EP, released in 2015, is uniquely sounding and accurately reflective of new wave indie music that has been trending amongst young listeners. Although even out of my comfort zone in music, 1st Vows is intriguing and requires patience in it's own appreciation.
