If you are music obsessed, like me, and have a certain liking for alternative music then this article is definitely for you. Here are 20 songs I personally can not get enough of these days. Some are new hits from a few bands I love, some have been around for a while, and others are just so rad that I had to throw them in there! So sit yourself down, make yourself a cup of tea, and listen to these stellar tunes. Also, these are in no specific order. They are all really rad! Listen, here.

1. "Holy Ghost," BØRNS

Probably one of my favorite artists right now is this man, Garrett Borns. I can't get enough of his dreamy falsetto voice and super, super sexy music. Buy his entire album, because every song is worth your money. I promise!

2. "Teenage Evolution,"Love In October

These dudes make such killer music. This particular song just puts me in the happiest of moods. Love it; love Love In October!

3. "Low Tide Love," Tipling Rock

I like to think of this song as the best song to enjoy on those late night car rides with friends where you have nothing to do but chill and enjoy life as it is.

4. "My Type," Saint Motel

Low key obsessed with this song at the moment. It will give you all the feel-good vibes.

5. "Soundcheck," Catfish and The Bottlemen

This is one the coolest bands and they're only becoming bigger and better with each album! This song particularly gets me one type of way.

6. "Trip Switch," Nothing But Thieves

This song is hella rad. It will make you feel so cool when you're riding down with the windows in your mirrored sunnies at night listening to this, my friends. This band's sound is unreal and undefinable.

7. "Cry Baby," The Neighbourhood

The Neighbourhood is my religion, to be perfectly honest and this is one of my favorite songs by them. The beat, Jesse Rutherford's voice, the lyrics -- ugh, it just gets me.

8. "Silhouette," The Phases

This funky, techno band gives me all the right feels. I love their entire album! Not to mention, they're pretty rad live!

9. "Awkward," San Cisco.

The song's lyrics are a bit awkward, but there is nothing awkward about the feel good vibe it is sure to give off.

10. "She's A Riot," The Jungle Giants

One of the best songs to add to your cleaning playlist when you're having a get-shit-done day. I love the way this band sounds and the certain mood it puts me in each time.

11. "Arabella," Arctic Monkeys

Two words: Arctic Monkeys. Enough said. But really they're one of the sexiest alternative bands around, so put on your leather jacket and crank this.

12. "Sweet Sun," Milky Chance

Milky Chance's sound is so indescribably awesome. I don't know if it is the harmonica, light drums, or the ever-so-raspy voice of Clemens Rehbein. Regardless, definitely listen to this one!

13. "Portuguese Knife Fight," Cage The Elephant

Not even going to exaggerate, but I am obsessed with this entire album. If you don't already love Cage the Elephant, you surely will after hearing this song.

14. "Greek Tragedy," The Wombats

This certain indie-rock band is my roommate/bestie's favorite band and I love her and this song! Give it a listen if you're rad like us.

15. "Sweet Emotion," The Kooks

The Kooks has and will forever be one of my favorite bands, hands down. So fall in love with their music just like I did circa 2006.

16. "Guru," Coast Modern

This extremely chill band created some sick tunes with super trippy videos for their amazing songs. Feel free to look it up and let the jams float all your worries away.

17. "NYC Girl," The Orion Experience

This song is sure to get you going in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening or any time of day -- this is the jam to pick to instantly boost your mood.

18. "Congratulations," MGMT

This mellow song is sure to calm your nerves after a long, crappy day. Gotta love MGMT for their stellar chill songs.

19. "If I Was Yours," Whispering Gypsies

Love everything about these guys. The guitars, the lyrics and the voice of an absolute angel. Be prepared to be swept off your feet.

20. "Promises," The Morning Benders

This slower, indie rock song is sure to assuage the stresses for at least three minutes and eight seconds. So take a listen.

Now remember, you can't overdose on music so listen to these as many times as your little ears desire. #nugsnotdrugs.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
