All athlete's lives consist of eating, school, and training. But those 6 a.m. lifts and conditioning sessions? Those are not a force to be reckoned with. It's so early in the morning and so many thoughts are rushing through our heads. So here's to the athletes that think these thoughts during those dreaded morning practices.
1. Ugh, it’s too early for this.
Just one more snooze?
2. Why am I awake before the sun?
3. I don’t want to get out of bed.
No. Please, no.
4. Just 5 more minutes of sleep and then I’ll get up.
5. Alright, here we go.
6. Holy crap it’s so cold outside.
My tears instantly turn to ice on my face.
7. I can’t wait to eat once this is over.
8. I could really go for some pancakes right now.
9. Or French Toast?
10. Hill sprints? No thank you
11. Why did I ever sign up for this?
12. Is it even worth it?
13. It's totally worth it!
Yes. You can do it!
14. I’m definitely going to need a nap after this
15. “Add a 45-pound plate to each side of the sleds!”
*cries internally*
16. Dear God I think I’m actually going to die.
17. I’m going to puke.
Hurry and get a bucket!
18. I can’t feel my legs.
19. Wow I’m definitely going to feel this tomorrow.
20. What time is it?
21. So when I get back, should I shower, study, or sleep?
22. Probably study...
23. But then again, I need to shower…
Fresh and clean.
24. Oh well. I’ll just sleep.
25.How bad will I smell if I don’t shower?
We know it's going to be bad.
26. Who even cares.
27. Nobody understands the physical pain I just went through.
28. Just one more sprint and I’m done.
29. Thank God I’m still alive.
30. I can’t believe I have to do this all again next week.
I will forever love this sport.
