With Father's Day coming up I have been thinking about all the things my dad has done for me over the years and what he continues to do for me every day. This is dedicated to my Dad and all the other great Dads out there. Thank you for:
1. All the life advice, even the stuff I didn't ask you for.
2. Answering my daily, sometimes even hourly phone calls (texts too).
3. Picking me up from school, practice, when I'm drunk, any time really.
4. Being my personal ATM when I needed money.
5. The many Starbucks you have bought me.
6. Being my personal mechanic and teaching me everything there is to know about cars.
7. Teaching me how to play sports (sorry I was never good at basketball like you hoped).
8. Keeping calm when I made mistakes.
9. Telling me that I could be anything I wanted when I grew up.
10. Pushing me to succeed.
11. Being understanding when I got my first ticket (and my 2nd.... and my 3rd).
12. Fixing/replacing all my broken phones.
13. Saying yes to whatever mom said no to.
14. Also making fun of mom with me.
15. Coaching me whether it was in sports or in life.
16. Teaching me how to drive (and still critiquing my driving skills 6 years later).
17. Attempting to understand sorority life.
18. Still not understanding all of it but supporting it.
19. Helping me get A's on all those science projects.
20. Listening to me talk about my drama even if you don't care.
21. Spending time with me after a long day of work.
22. Letting me pick the music in the car.
23. Taking time off work to spend time with me every time I come home for break.
24. Passing down your thick hair to me.
25. Attending every sports game I have ever played in, no matter how far or how hot.
26. Knowing how to fix anything.
27. Watching TV with me even if it is something you don't want to watch.
28. Always being down for dessert.
29. Explaining important real world concepts like taxes and stocks.
30. Working hard to give me the world.
Thank you Dad for everything you have done for me!
