College university promotions can be seen everywhere.

Everyone wants to show off how great of a school they are and get some prospective students excited about their futures. As much as we each love our schools, there are always some things we college students don't quite get.

So, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, though I love you I do have a few questions:

1. Why is our school website so confusing?

2. How come the food at the Union closes so early?

3. Why do we not have a campus food delivery?

4. Why do the suites not have a dining hall, but everywhere else does?

5. Why does CPN close on the weekends?

6. What's with the C-Store having absolutely everything except what I need?

7. Are you aware that students have been calling the Health Center the "Death Center" for at least the past 10 years?

8. You promote the Health Center and it's resources, but are you aware that they are pretty much full?

9. Why is it that I can be a walk-in and get treated, but it is so hard to get an appointment anywhere?

10. Does the football team know who are in the Herbie Husker and Lil' Red costumes?

11. Is there a reason the testing center will say I can't take one test because the center is full, but I can take a test for a different class, in the same room, at the same time?

12. How do we go about getting more dogs on campus?

13. Why can't I sell my game ticket to someone that is not a UNL student?

14. Why can't another student use my Ncard for a game?

15. Why is "mandatory attendance" a thing?

16. Is there a reason there are more A lots than C lots?

17. Why is Kansas State still a school? Asking for a friend.

18. Why do the busses only run until 9?

19. The main campus Union has fast food options, why not the East Campus Union?

20. Why are there no parking spots for visitors?

21. Why can some teachers choose to be late and make their class go over time, but we can't be late?

22. Why do quiet hours exist during finals week?

23. Why are quiet hours never enforced?

24. How are you able to promote on campus jobs as much as you do, yet none of the job offices have the ability to update students on filled positions or answer their questions?

25. Why isn't an eating plan included in the budget and costs of our housing plan?

26. What is the reason for the very very expensive parking spots???

27. Where is 24/7 dining, or at least later food options without having to pay a totally separate fee?

28. For real, what's with all the fire drills and water problems? Like, it's not really your fault it's ours, but I'm still questioning it.

Thank you to anyone who can answer these.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
