Some of us go to college not knowing anyone and getting a random roommate pair, others come to college with their best friends from high school (maybe even middle or elementary if you're lucky). No matter what you're going to make some of the best friends in the world in college. Living with a person while getting to share all of your college memories pretty much guarantees them a spot in the best friend category. You share laughs, tears, memories, clothes, shoes, leggings, a roof & pretty much everything.....

1. You can stay up late talking for hours.

2. You binge-watch episodes on Netflix (probably Grey's Anatomy, Gossip Girl, Scandal or Friends) when you probably should be studying.

3. You miss them when you go home for break.

4. They can read your mind. You can look at each other without saying anything and know what each other is thinking.

5. You eventually stop paying each other back and it turns into, "I got you, just buy my Moes next time."

6. Even if you just met a couple months ago, you're both 100% yourself around each other.

7. They appreciate your weirdness (because they're equally as weird)

8. They're always up for a shopping trip while singing your heart out in the car. #HelloTjMaxx

9. She has a boyfriend, but best friends come first.

10. No matter what time it is if you need a vent session their door (or other side of the room) is always open.

11. You both laugh at inappropriate times.

12. You have family dinners. #cornbread #biscuits #pasta

13. They're ALWAYS up for a Taco Bell run or ordering pizza no matter what time it is.

14. You share each others closets. #WhatsMineIsYours

15. Y'all randomly decide to cook one of those Facebook Buzzfeed food videos even if your other roommates think you are crazy because who makes Ramen Pizza? (It was great for the record)

16. You get in fights but always eventually make up.

17. They'll be real with you even if you might not want them to be at the time.

18. You've gone through some of the hardest times in life with each other such as break ups, studying for a giant test and rush week.

19. You have dance parties.

20. They support you in whatever you do (sorority life, dying your hair, sporting events, teammates or getting the double scoop instead of the single)

21. You've seen each other at their worst.

22. You've cuddled with them to share the laptop to watch Netflix.

23. You hate the same people.

24. You've managed to maintain your friendship through the stress/ insanity of finals week.

25. You survived the "Freshman 15"

26. Their family is your second family.

27. You know the person for who they are and couldn't imagine life without them after living with them.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
