My best friends have seen me in my best times, and in my worst times. In between all of our inside jokes, girls night outs, and hungover brunches I forgot to tell you thank you for all the little things that mean a lot to me.

1. For always keeping my secrets

2. For listening to me complain about my boyfriend when he's being annoying

And then inevitably forgiving him when I do.

3. For always telling me I'm prettier than those other girls no matter how much prettier they are then I am

You lie so well.

4. For always being down to go out with me

GIRLS NIGHT OUT! GIRLS NIGHT OUT!

5. For always being in to stay in with me too

GIRLS NIGHT IN! GIRLS NIGHT IN!

6. For buying me that shot I definitely didn't need

"You can soooooo do another one"

7. For all the awkward dance parties

Dance party to Hannah Montana anyone?

8. For promising to eat too much, drink too much, and complain too much

We like indulgence.

9. For being able to communicate with me without words

It's all in a look.

10. For letting me steal all of your clothes

And not getting mad when I don't return them right away.

11. For not getting annoyed when we subconsciously dress alike

Twinsies.

12. For taking care of me at the bar

That extra hair tie is really saving us both.

13. For singing extra loud with me in the car

"I SHAKE IT OFF, SHAKE IT OFFFFFFF"

14. For fountain sodas

You know how important they are.

15. For doing weird things with me and not caring because they're fun.

Being normal is overrated.

16. For always helping me fix my makeup

God knows a girl can't be truly blended without a little help.

17. For promising to hate the same people that I do

Which is the true test of friendship.

18. For gossiping with me

Obviously.

19. For making me laugh when I need it

Usually followed by a big hug.

20. For being my shoulder to cry on

And not being too afraid of my ugly cry.

21. For not posting the picture where you look amazing and I look terrible

My online presence thanks you for that.

22. For never judging me

Ever.

23. For promising I will be a bridesmaid

Just please don't make me wear an ugly dress.

24. For taking all of those extra pictures so I can find my angle.

Which is so important.

25. For our millions of group chats

So many different platforms to tell you I love you on.

26. For being the best friends I could've ever imagined.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
