No one's relationship is perfect, but ours is pretty near close. We love each other (maybe a little too much), never argue and make each other so happy that we want to spend the rest of our lives with each other. The only bump in our road is the distance -- 1,794 miles between Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Ringwood, New Jersey. A three-hour and 45 minute plane ride, or a 28-hour drive, according to Google Maps.
We count down the days till we will see each other next (14 days!) and take life one step at a time. And it makes me realize how much I take our loving relationship for granted. I really don't thank you enough for being the most perfect human being I have ever met and for treating me like your princess. So, this article is dedicated to my boyfriend and all the other long distance boyfriends out there, showing their love from afar. Here are a few things you should thank your long distance boyfriend for.
1. For Skyping every night, even though you're tired from work.
2. For making an effort to plan date nights, even when the world is against us
3. For cheering us up when we are in bad moods
4. For always saying good night (even when we fall asleep on you)
5. For tolerating our needy moods and constant cries for attention
6. For never letting us win the, "I love you more," fight
7. For telling us we are beautiful even when we think we look homeless.
8. For putting up with us crying about literally everything cute you say.
9. For playing with our hair.
10. For giving us cuddles and kisses whenever we need them.
11. For sitting on a plane or in a car for a long period of time to come see us.
12. For sending care packages and buying us random gifts.
13. For being our biggest support system.
14. For calming us down, even when you have other things to be doing.
15. For sharing cute things with us on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
16. For giving in to our baby and puppy fever.
17. For not judging when we do something silly, but laughing and calling us cute instead.
18. For getting along with our friends and family.
19. For talking about and planning the future with us.
20. For appreciating the little things in life.
21. For supporting all of our goals and dreams (even the really crazy ones).
