21 Reasons To Be Excited For Your 21st Brithday
Bevmoth Thirsty Times

With my 21st birthday quickly approaching, I am getting more excited each day. To celebrate, here's a list of 21 things I can't wait for when I celebrate this big birthday, aka twentyfun!

1. No more fake ID anxiety.

2. No more begging for your older friend to do the dirty deed and buy your alcohol.

3. Bars, AKA no more crying because of how much house parties bore you.

4. Going out for not only dinner, but for drinks, too.

5. Being able to buy yourself as much wine as you want, you know, for wine Wednesday, Thursday, etc.

6. Mimosas, 'nuff said.

7. Finally being able to get a beer at Bruins games.

8. And at Red Sox games.

9. And at Celtics games.

10. Annnnd at Patriots games.

11. Being able to tailgate at country concerts (Luke Bryan, I'm coming for ya).

12. No more watered-down frat house beer.

13. Being able to buy alcohol for your own party.

14. It's acceptable to drink any day you want.

15. Karaoke bars, because let's be real, there is no way I'm getting up and singing "Stop! In the Name of Love!" sober.

16. Buying champagne and feeling classy as hell.

17. Being able to drink at family parties (and take a chug every time Aunt Sally asks why you still don't have a boyfriend).

18. Having a beer after a race.

19. No more shame in pulling out your vertical junior ID.

20. Tacos and margaritas.

21. You. Are. Legal. Best birthday ever.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
