Happy 2017!
Its that time of year again. A new year, a new you (I know, how basic)! But realistically, this is the perfect opportunity to become the type of person you wish to be. Resolutions are typically known for falling through, but why?
A new year is a new start. Being a college student, I feel a new year is like starting over again. You have a new semester, a new schedule, and the possibility of a whole lot of change. I think everyone should take this opportunity to make at least one step closer to being fully content with yourself. Inspire to change. Inspire to be the best you can be!
Here is a list of 26 new year resolutions to become a better you:
1. Spend more time with friends. You may still be bored but not lonely.
2. Put your academics first.
3. Be the change you wish to see in the world.
4. Get that dream body of yours, like Kourtney Kardashian got post-breakup.
5. Branch out and meet new people.
6. Erase everything negative or unnecessary in your life.
7. Be more respectful. Treat people the way YOU want to be treated.
8. Have more of a positive outlook in life.
9. Find a significant other who meets all your needs and wants.
10. Wake up every morning a little bit earlier to dress to impress.
11. Let go of the toxic relationships in your life.
12. Be more spontaneous.
13. Learn how to be self-reliant and make yourself happy.
14. Stop making excuses.
15. Be more honest with your feelings.

21. Smile more.

23. Quit being judgmental.
24. Don't waste your time on those people that bring you down.

26. Make sure you stick to these resolutions to ensure a spectacular year!
You have a whole year, 365 days, 52 weeks, 12 months, to become a new you. Take it day by day, resolution by resolution and positive changes will come out of it. You will have off days this year and not everything will go as planned, but always remember you control your life and who you are as a person.
Good luck with your resolutions and remember, a new year, a new you!
XOXO,
