This article may be offensive to some, but it's my opinion and I have every right to voice it.
The election is over and unfortunately, most of the country has been divided because of it. One group wants Hillary Clinton and the other group wants Donald Trump, but the two groups can't seem to get along
During the election, the two candidates were constantly tearing each other down, and for the majority of their campaigns, it was mostly unapparent who was doing better in the election. Trump and Clinton both had almost the same amount of support, making it hard to decipher who was actually winning. Thankfully, the election is finished. After wondering for months who the next president of the United States would be, we now know. The political drama doesn't have to continue anymore and with that said, its time to move on.
Donald Trump may not have won the popular vote, but he did win the 270 electoral votes which ultimately determines the next president of the United States. We can't stay upset at Hillary Clinton's loss forever, and we can't stop Donald Trump from being president. Regardless of all the hashtags, protests, and political turmoil, Donald Trump will be the 45th president of the United States, and we all need to try our best to welcome him with an open mind.
