I'm not a user of the Yik Yak app (due to not having enough data on my phone to download it), but I definitely try to keep up with what people are saying on campus. For those of you who don't know what Yik Yak is, it's an app where people can anonymously post and create discussions with people within the same five-mile radius. You can like and dislike posts without people knowing who you are. People post a lot of irrelevant things on Yik Yak, but every once in a while, someone says something that makes me laugh. I follow the Rutgers Yik Yak account on Twitter to see what's going on. According to this page, Rutgers University is the seventh most active campus on Yik Yak in America in 2015.
Here are the 20 best yaks from Rutgers during the Spring 2016 semester:
On the bus system:

This is why I try to go to Busch as little as possible. I don't like Busch.

The buses either come all at once or every 15 minutes. There's very little in between.

Most of the bus drivers are pretty awesome if you try to talk to them.

It's perfectly normal to get a crime alert in the middle of the day, too. Surprisingly, I haven't gotten one in a while.

The most important thing to Rutgers right now is our 250th anniversary. I hear/see something about it everyday.
