20 Ways to Love Yourself, Naturally

1. Love yourself with a selfish love.

2. Take yourself on a coffee date on a day when you have nothing, but time.

3. Stop letting people determine whether you are beautiful or not.

4. Exercise, but not to lose weight.

5. Embrace that birthmark on your forehead that's been bugging you since the seventh grade.

6. Douse yourself in lotion. It will feel good, and you will smell incredible.

7. Allow yourself time to grow.

8. Stop shaving your legs. And everywhere else you have body hair.

9. If someone is calling themselves fat, let them know that fat does not equate to bad.

10. If you are calling yourself fat, I'm here to tell you that fat does not equate to bad.

11. Let your soul do the talking.

12. Make it your God-given duty, each day, to stop apologizing for being who it is you are.

13. Sleep is so good for you. Get as much as you can.

14. If you want a Twix bar, have one. If you want three Twix bars, have those, too.

15. Delete your ex-friend, ex-boyfriend or girlfriend, ex-something or other off of your Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, etc.

16. Commence the stage of letting go of your grudges.

17. Laugh at silly, immature things. You won't think that they are funny, but the laughing part will feel good.

18. Let yourself cry about anything and everything. Grab some tissues. Make a ritual out of this, because your emotions are valid, and need to be released.

19.Know that you don't need to wear makeup to look "pretty."

20. Be as kind to yourself as you are to others.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
