Being single.

For some, this is the best time of their lives.

For others though, this means being constantly asked, "Have you met someone yet?" or "Why are you still single?"

And for those people, they get the dreaded cliché lines meant to give hope.

Please for the love of all things holy, like pizza, stop these words from coming out of your mouth.

"The right one will come along. Just you wait."

"Have you tried online dating? I heard good things about it."

"Are you seeing someone currently?"

"How you are still single? You're the sweetest person."

"Any guy/girl would be lucky to be with you."

"I wouldn't worry about it; you got plenty of time."

"There's more fish in the sea."

"There's someone for everyone."

"How's your best friend and her/his significant other?"

"When are you going to bring someone home for the holidays?"

"At least you have freedom to flirt with anyone you want."

"When are you going to settle down and have kids?"

"You should let me set you up."

"OMG. I have the perfect person for you!"

"You are figuring out how to love yourself before you can love someone else."

"You need to lower your expectations; you're too picky."

"I couldn't imagine being single again; that would suck."

"Have you tried that dating app... Tinder?"

"Don't you get lonely?"
