Spring break is officially over. St. Patrick’s day has passed too. So now all you seniors are back to a regular schedule just waiting for the unstoppable doom called graduation. And even though you still have six to seven weeks of classes, homework, projects and a bunch of other crap you have to do… you just do not care anymore. If you feel that way, then you are most likely suffering from senioritis. Here are some other signs that you may have caught this disease that will eventually take hold of you and take over your entire life.
1. You wake up and lay in bed, sad about getting up, trying to figure out if you still have any unexcused absences left so you can skip class.
2. Grocery shopping has become obsolete…and eating out has become a daily ritual.
3. You are going to happy hour… Tuesday through Sunday.
4. Napping is no longer a treat, because you do it every single day.
5. If the weather is slightly warm or it is kinda nice out, class is non-existent.
6. Writing papers the night before was something you did before you were a senior, so now you cram it in the hour before it is due and hope to god it reaches 10 pages.
7. You have re-wore the same leggings four days in a row and your favorite sweatshirt and you DGAF.
8. You want to spend all your time driving around with your friends, windows down, music blasting….so you do.
9. Walking past one or more of your friends in the quad almost definitely means you are not making it to your next class…it doesn’t take much to convince you to sit outside chatting instead.
10. Your laundry basket is taller than Mt. Everest and will probably stay that way until you move out.
11. Netflix is more your best friend than ever before.
12. Instead of reading or studying for your test the next day, you are editing your resume and browsing LinkedIn instead.
13. You determine what you need to get on the final to pass the class.
14 Group projects with those who are not seniors are beyond irritating because they still care.
15. The only reason you will get up early is to go get a day drink.
16. Overall, you’re leaving this place soon, so who cares about schoolwork? Just go party and have fun with your friends.
