20 Questions We Have Left After "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life"

The revival that we've all waited nine years for finally started streaming on Netflix last Friday. "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life" was the highly anticipated comeback of everyone's favorite fast talking and coffee obsessed mother-daughter duo, Lorelai and Rory. As beautiful as ever, you watched them grace your television screen again as they made you laugh, cry, and even yell at the television at times. And while those six hours of binge watching were glorious and amazing, you can't help but feel left with wanting to see more. But before that, we have some burning questions that need to be answered in the revival, that left us hanging.

1. Why does Zack look like he's been heavily chain smoking the past ten years? He did not age well at all compared to the rest of the cast.

2. How much money did Rory spend in airline tickets, flying back and forth from London all the time?

3. Seriously though, how did she afford that? She mentioned multiple times that she was broke. BROKE. Where do I sign up to travel the world with no money?

4. What does Mr. Kim actually do? We never see him in the original series and he finally appears in the revival for a total of five seconds. A legendary myth.

5. Why tf was Christopher not at Richard's funeral? Considering Lorelai got pregnant when she was 16, Richard has been in Christopher's life for a significant amount of time, so it's surprising that he wasn't there.

6. At what point in time, did Luke finally give into having wifi at his diner? We can imagine that it took lots and lots of convincing for him to finally allow it.

7. Where was the infamous theme song "Where You Lead" sung by Carole King, during the opening credits?

8. Where was Chad Michael Murray? C'mon, the creators didn't think they could slide this one past us, could they?

9. Specifically, how many bottles of liquor did Lorelai actually drink at her father's funeral?

10. How did Paul and Rory meet? Wondering when this romance was stared and how, noting that it was clearly not love at first sight.

11. How many more pairs of jeans does Emily own? Maybe zero. Maybe a secret hidden closet full of a hundred pairs.

12. Why does Odette even exist? WHY? #teamlogan4ever

13. What would've Lorelai's wedding dress looked like had we actually got to watch their full- blown, planned wedding ceremony?

14. Why wasn't Emily at the wedding?! It was last minute okay, but still, it seemed like Emily and Lorelai were finally at a place where she would at least invite her own mother to see her get married.

15. More importantly, where was SOOKIE AT THIER WEDDING?? She's Lorelai's bff, how did she miss this milestone? (Logistically, we know Melissa Mccarthy had limited time to come film for the show).

16. How come we didn't get to see Liz & T.J.? Yes, they were busy trying to get out of a cult that they had accidentally joined, but we still missed their goofy selves.

17. Did Michele definitively decide to stay at the Dragonfly Inn? We know he made plans to leave, but when they started interviewing people to replace him, he seemed to be seconded guessing the idea.

18. What possessed Amy Sherman-Pallendino (the creator of the show) to insert a pointless, 15 minute musical into the third episode of "Summer"? Let's just pretend these 15 minutes didn't happen at all.

19. How come Jess didn't get more screen time? We left feeling like there still so much of his story to tell, like where he has been all these years? What his love life is like past Rory?

20. Finally, when is Netflix going to announce that they're working on season two?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
