When you hear people talk about the prime of your life, they usually tell you it's during your 20s. When someone lies about their age, they usually pick a number somewhere in the 20s. And when you hear about major life events, they mostly take place in your 20s. That's a whole lot of pressure for an age group who already has enough pressure figuring everything out and adjusting to the adult life. Sometimes what 20-somethings crave above all else is to escape from all the pressure and just figure the world out by exploring new parts of it. I am a firm believer that you discover yourself while discovering new places. So what better time to take advantage of that than right now while you're in your 20s, while you're still young, able and have little to no responsibilities. Scrimp and save and make these 20 destinations your ultimate bucket list, in no particular order:

1. Greece

If this view doesn't tell you how unbelievably gorgeous this place is, then watch Mamma Mia or Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Never will you see such clear-blue water!

2. London

All One Direction fan-girl hopes aside, this really is the most charming place between the accents and architecture. God bless the queen, am I right?

3. Paris

Because if Audrey says it's a good idea, you don't need any more convincing.

4. Tokyo

Times Square times ten. This city is all about the technology, cute culture (kawaii), and just really cool, unique food.

5. Hawaii

Tropical Paradise... Elvis Presley. Need I say more?

6. Ireland

From the lush landscapes and castles to the accents and beer, there isn't a luckier place to be!

7. Norway

I mean who would't want to see Aurora Borealis over the Fjords while on a boat and wearing a viking hat (or Elsa dress)? But really, this country has such incredible and wondrous natural beauty!

8. India

The Taj Mahal alone is worth a trip to India, but their culture and cuisine are just as breathtaking!

9. Cruise

One of, if not the best ways of travel that really shows that it's not about the destination, it's about the journey!

10. Germany

Germany has come a long way as they have rebuilt a new reputation along with their charming and grand architecture. There is so much history in this country that will leave you with a newfound sense of gratitude of life and compassion for others.

11. Disneyland

No travel bucket list is complete without visiting the happiest place on earth!

12. Walt Disney World

But of course, you also need to visit the most magical place on earth, because it's so much bigger (and debatably better)—including the castle!

13. All the international Disney Parks

I mean while you're at it, you might as well make it your goal to visit all the Disney Parks around the world! Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, and the newest that just opened this year, Shanghai Disneyland!

14. Amsterdam

This unique and enchanting city is unlike any other between the architecture and jaw-dropping amount of bicycles and canals!

15. Canada

It has something for everyone, whether you love the city or the countryside. Some of the most breathtaking nature views are found in this wonderful country of maple, moose and J-Biebs.

16. Italy

The ultimate place for not only historical art and architecture, but also FOOD. This is what dreams are made of.

17. Australia

The opera house, the accents, the kangaroos, and of course, P. Sherman 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney.

18. Spain

Your inner 8-year-old will thank you for strutting down the streets of Barcelona.

19. Bora Bora

You know you've already pinned it on Pinterest several times, not to mention that it doesn't even look real it's so beautiful.

20. Africa

Because who wouldn't love to go on an African safari to observe wildlife in their natural habitats?

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.

For many undergraduates across the nation, the home stretch has begun. Only one more semester remains in our undergraduate career. Oh, the places we will go! For the majority of college seniors, this is simultaneously the best and worst year out of the past four and here’s why.

1. The classes you are taking are actually difficult.

A schedule full of easy pottery throwing and film courses is merely a myth on the average campus. With all of those prerequisites for the upper-level courses and the never-ending battle you fight each year during registration for limited class seats, senior year brings with it the ability to register for the final courses you need to fulfill your major. Yet, these are not the easy entry level courses. These are the comprehensive, end of major, capstone courses designed to apply the knowledge from all your previous courses, usually in the form of an extensive research paper or engaged learning project. The upside is you actually probably really enjoy these classes but alas there is no room for slackers here.
