When I look back on my life, it's crazy to think of all the stuff I learned in my short 20 years of living. And to think that I still have so much more left to learn?

1.) Life is not all about sleeping in late, watching Blue's Clues, and playing the Arthur's Reading Race computer game. You have to grow up eventually.

2.) Speaking of growing up, it's a cruel world out there. There's underage drinking, smoking, partying, and a lot of teenage pregnancies.

3.) You may choose to participate in some of the said activities when you are older. But that's ok- it's a part of growing up and learning. But be smart about it.

4.) Yes, you have to go to school. I know it's a pain, but it's the law.

5.) College is the best 4 years of your life. Despite the long nights of studying, heartbreak, and stress, you always have your friends to lean on in the hard times.

6.) All kinds of people will come into your life- but not all of them are meant to stay.

7.) People change. They begin to travel down a different path. Sometimes they get in with the wrong crowd. There's nothing you can do for them- worry about yourself first.

8.) That person that you thought was your best friend isn't actually your best friend- it's a toxic friendship. Things may end badly between you two and you will be hurt at first, but it's for the better.

9.) Bullying sucks and you will face a lot of it while growing up. However, as a result of being bullied, you will grow into a stronger and more confident woman, ready to take on the world.

10.) You're not going to marry your high school sweetheart- and that's ok! It's a relationship you will always look back on with adoration and will cherish in the years to come.

11.) Your mental and physical health should always come first.

12.) Your first time getting drunk/your first hangover will not feel so great. Stay away from the caffeine and grab the orange Gatorade.

13.) Working retail sucks but after a while, you will develop a thick skin- and will even eventually work up the nerve to laugh at rude and/or clueless customers.

14.) Heartbreak is a part of life. It may feel like someone took a sledgehammer to your heart at first but you will eventually move on. Just keep yourself busy and believe in yourself.

15.) We're all adults and busy. You don't have to talk to your friends every second of every day to prove your friendship. I guarantee you once you guys meet up again it will be like you just saw each other yesterday.

16.) It's ok to break down and cry every now and then. Sometimes that's all it takes to feel better.

17.) Don't put so much pressure on yourself academic wise. You're not always going to get perfect grades. If you try your best you will pull through.

18.) Stick up for yourself. Once you learn to say "no", you won't be able to stop because it feels so great.

19.) If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

20.) No matter what you do, whatever stupid decision you make or accomplishment you achieve, your friends will always be there for you to back you up.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
