Sisters. Sisterhood comes with drama, fun times and lots of love.

At times you can’t stand her, but you know you can’t live without her. Having a little sister is a love/hate relationship of its own. She’s the one person who will always have your back and won’t be mad at you for more than an hour (if you’re lucky). No matter how annoying they can be, you wouldn’t trade having a little sister for the world. She is your partner in crime, your shoulder to cry on, your go to girl and your absolute best friend. Here are 19 signs you know you have a younger sister.

She makes you want to be a better person.
She’s your little sister and you don’t want her making the same stupid mistakes that you did. She gives you a reason to be the best person you can be.

You will always find clothes missing in your closet.
This is a constant argument. Clothes go mysteriously missing and sometimes you won’t even find out that she has them until she posts an Instagram picture or a Snapchat of herself wearing that missing sweatshirt.

“Can I come, too?”
A constant phase you always hear. No matter where you are going, she'll always ask to come with you. When you say no, your parents will usually make you bring her along.

You’re her personal wallet.
You always find yourself paying for her things. Whether you’re getting ice cream, getting food or at the store, she seems to never have her own money.

You get into arguments so stupid, they're funny.
Whether it's who gets to take a shower first, who gets the blue cheese container for the pizza or who is going to let the dog out, you always find something to fight about.

You always get the honest truth.
You will always get the honest, brutal truth from her.

You’re each other’s biggest fans.
You’re always right beside each other, cheering each other on.

You’re a personal taxi driver.
You constantly find yourself giving your younger sister rides to her friend's house, picking her up from practice or wherever else she may be.

You always had to babysit for free.
You were sometimes forced to stay home to watch your younger sister and you never got a penny for it.

She keeps you young.
You will always know the latest high school gossip or the latest social media trend that’s going on.

You always have something to say about the latest boy.
Sometimes they’re afraid to even introduce you to him because you usually always have something to say about him.

You always have a go-to girl.
Whether you want to go shopping, go to the beach or go get food at 2 a.m., your sister will always be down.

You can’t lie to them about anything.
She’s that annoying little investigator who can see right through you. “I’m fine” won’t cut it with them.

If they have drama, it’s your drama, too.
You always know the latest drama. The second you hear something bad is said or done to your sister, you always try to step in.

You find yourself always giving her advice.
You love giving your younger sister advice about anything and everything.

You help them get away with things.
Face it: you’ve probably done the same thing a few years ago. Now, it's time to help your sister out because you can’t let them get caught.

You can communicate just by looking at each other.
It’s a sister thing.

You can’t believe how lenient your parents are with her.
At her age, you wouldn’t be able to do half the things she is allowed to do.

You don’t know what you would do without her.
Despite all of your ups and downs, you love your sister and she is your absolute best friend. She’ll always be there to listen to your stories, to do fun things with you, to take pictures with and be your number one pal. You’re so proud of the person she has become and you know that she will do nothing but great things. You love her unconditionally and you wouldn’t trade her for the world.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
