18 Times One Tree Hill Broke Your Heart

"One Tree Hill," in its nine seasons, gave such a range of emotions to its viewers it's hard to keep up. It's like you were riding shotgun on a roller coaster of emotions without a seatbelt or bar to strap you in. The tears fell [hard], the laughs echoed, and the tension you felt in all of those nail-biting, edge-of-your-seat moments became almost too much to bare sometimes. Between all the Lucas and Peyton drama, the Haley and Nathan drama, Dan, and all his baggage, or even Lucas and Brooke drama, there really never was a dull moment. "One Tree Hill" repetitively broke hearts over and over — yet we all still kept watching. So here's a recap of some of "One Tree Hill"'s most heartbreaking moments.

1. Lucas in a car accident

Season one started us out with a bang when Lucas was in the car accident with Keith and then Dan [of all people] came through and saved his life.

2. Jules stands Keith up at the altar

Poor Keith. Of course, Dan was behind it all. You couldn't help but feel bad for Keith. First Karen, now Jules.

3. The library kiss

This whole episode in itself was life-changing, but so many tears were shed when Lucas & Peyton were stranded in the library as she was bleeding out.

4. Keith's murder

Then the end of this episode. How could you Dan?! Absolutely heartwrenching.

5. The end of Brooke and Lucas

Obviously, we all knew they weren't meant to be, but this scene was still so emotional. We feel for you Brooke, we feel for you.

6. The wedding day limo accident

Not to mention in the same episode is the infamous limo accident at the bridge. Watching Haley scream in her wedding dress from the top as Nathan dove in and seeing the cereal box bracelet float to the top... I couldn't figure out if I wanted to scream or cry. RIP Cooper.

7. Haley gets hit by the car

Fast forward a season to a pregnant Haley throwing Nathan out of the way to be hit by a car and I still don't think I've calmed down.

8. Lucas has a heart attack

Let's not forget that in those panicked moments of getting Haley into the ambulance that Lucas also has a heart attack.

9. Brooke has to give baby Angie back

Maybe I'm alone in being the only one who cried in this scene, but when Brooke had to give baby Angie back after her surgery so many tears were shed.

10. Quentin is murdered

Of course, just as Q was turning his life around and we were starting to really like him, he's in the wrong place at the wrong time and is killed. Throw that in with the fact that little Jamie idolized him and it just gives me a lump in my throat to even think back on.

11. Psycho nanny Carrie kidnaps Jamie

That terrifying moment that someone grabbed Jamie in the cornfield and you didn't know if it was Haley or Nanny Carrie. I know I'm not the only one who was yelling at the TV in this episode.

12. Lucas & Peyton's wedding

I think the amount of tears shed in this episode speak for themselves when it comes to just looking at this picture. Then when Lucas was begging Peyton to wake up because their baby didn't even have a name? Instant tears.

13. Karen's hospital visit

Poor Lucas. He wouldn't be who he is without Karen.

14. Lucas & Peyton riding off into the sunset

Maybe this is considered to be one of the 'happier' moments of the show but they never came back to Tree Hill [except an appearance from Lucas in season nine].

15. Haley's mom dying from cancer

This hits home to almost everyone. Who wants to lose their mom? The lump in your throat from this scene is just almost too much to bear.

16. Psycho Katie shoots Quinn & Clay

Who else saw this coming?! The most innocent couple on the show was just taken out. I was not ready for it.

17. Brooke drowning

Brooke Davis cannot die.

18. Nathan gets kidnapped

He'd come such a long way from the jerk jock in the first season, so much emotion was felt as his abductors held him hostage and beat him. Not to mention Haley and the kids at home worried sick.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
