You know that feeling you get when you put your iTunes or Spotify on shuffle and then all of a sudden a song comes on from a few years ago and you wonder to yourself why you ever stopped listening to it? Yeah, I know the feeling too. I often times get told I have really bad taste in music because I always want to listen to older songs because they are so good. I’m sorry, but honestly, I am not even that sorry. Listen to these songs again, and you will know what I mean. Here are throwback songs that most definitely need to come back.
1. "Mr. Brightside" -- The Killers

2. "1985" -- Bowling for Soup
Stand out lyric: “Debbie just hit the wall, She never had it all”
3. "A Thousand Miles" -- Vanessa Carlton
Stand out lyric: "And I need you And I miss you And now I wonder..."
I admit this was very overplayed right after it came out, but I think it has been enough time that it can be appreciated again.
4. "Beautiful Soul" -- Jesse McCartney
Stand out lyric: “I don't want another pretty face, I don't want just anyone to hold, I don't want my love to go to waste, I want you and your beautiful soul”
As long as "Beautiful Soul" is coming back, I would also like to request Jesse McCartney to come back in general.
5. "Buy U a Drank" -- T-Pain
Stand out lyric: “I know the club, closes at three. What’s the chance of you rollin’ with me?”
6. "I Don’t Want to Be" -- Gavin DeGraw
Stand out lyric: “I don't want to be Anything other than what I've been trying to be lately All I have to do is think of me and I have a peace of mind”
It just brings back the good old "One Tree Hill" memories.
7. "Drops of Jupiter" -- Train

8. "Leave (Get Out)" and "Too Little, Too Late" -- JoJo

Sorry, I just could not choose. There was too much emotion to (leave) one out, and it’s not (too late) to bring them back

10. "Tear Drops on My Guitar" -- Taylor Swift
Stand out lyric: “The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star”
One of Taylor Swift’s first break out songs, and it is often forgotten about.
11. "SOS" -- Jonas Brothers
Stand out lyric: “Next time I see you, I’m giving you a high five, Cause hugs are overrated just F-Y-I”
Boy bands FTW.
12. "Unwritten" -- Natasha Bedingfield
