All of us have one, or a few, of those people in our life who don't simply fit the label of "friend." Sometimes a bond is so strong that you guys start to become one person. It's like you were destined to find each other. Those are the best types of friendships. The ones where you spend 90% of the day together and spend the other 10% briefly passing by to say "Hi" to your actual family. But sometimes you guys can be too close, and these are a few signs suggesting that just might be the case.
1. You call each other's parents "Mom" and "Dad"
You’re basically part of the family at this point and their front door is always open to you. You're also probably the one their parents call if they can't find their daughter.
2. You know the details of each other’s bodily functions
Details of what happens in the bathroom don’t stay in the bathroom.
3. Your significant other is more excited to see them than they are to see you sometimes
They are basically an extension of you, if that makes you feel any better.
4. You take jokes a little too far and it’s not weird
Things that would get you weird looks if you said to anyone else are just part of a daily conversation with them.
5. You have matching articles of clothing
And you know you when they have new ones.
6. You finish each other’s food, drinks, and sentences
They are always there to finish the rest of those fries or your drink at the bar to make sure you’re not wasting a single penny.
7. You are the first to know EVERYTHING that's happening in their love lives
Whether that be the boy they are talking to, the boy they find cute in class or the boy that doesn’t even exist.
8. You're always on the same page
All it takes is one look to know what the other person is thinking.
9. You share all of your possessions with them naturally
What's mine is yours and what's yours is mine... everything is really just ours.
10. You guys spend more time in each other’s beds than your own
Watching tv shows, showing each other funny videos, scrolling through Instagram in silence... it’s just more convenient.
11. You always grab them the food they love if you see it while you’re out
Because seeing their face light up when they have new junk food to snack on brings as much joy to you as it does to them.
12. You’re rarely ever out alone, though, because you travel as a unit
Your other friends basically to refer to you as one person.
13. You’ve started keeping track of the memories you will use to embarrass them at their wedding and to their children
Because what better time to embarrass them than in front of the people who should respect them the most.
14. You have adopted their signature phrases and mannerisms
Somehow things you never said two months ago have become part of your daily vocabulary.
15. 90% of your camera roll includes them
Embarrassing pictures, organized photo shoots, you need to capture every moment.
16. You’ve planned the rest of your lives together
Because there’s no one else you’d rather live or explore the world with than your best friend.
